Common Problems. 1. response. Car makes a noise when idling in drive or when reversing and taking off but the noise dissapears after reaching around 30km/hr or leave it to idle in neutral. The car makes a noise from the engine. The wierd noise is only heard if i leave the car idling in D (drive) or when i am reversing and on take off until
It struggles to get to 3k revs when driving unless I'm going downhill ( had to drive home after it started) Speed is not limited providing I have chance to build it up. When it gets to 3k it just pretty much stops as if I was hitting the limiter and wont go further unless I'm forcing it by going downhill.
The car has been juddering at low speed (2010 1.6HDi EGS) and so tried the hard reset method tonight. Stopped, put on and then off the handbrake, and then floored it to just over 40, and then cruised at 40. Blimey, for a car that size, with just a 1.6, it fair shifts!

Follow the sections you see, it will start by calibrating the position of the gears, followed by the power need for the clutch. When the calibration of the "pull position" (not shure what it's called in English), keep the Lexia connected! Start the engine and let it get warm (over 70 deg Celsius).
Decompression / lowering does not function correctlyEDIT 2018_11_23:I believe the original problem was one of the air springs leaking air and thus tilting th
Sometimes when I start the car the parking brake flashes and locks the handbrake on. The best way I found to fix this problem is to get everybody out of the car, lock the car with the key fob and then unlock it again. Then the P will be a solid red and then you can remove the handbrake.
by tizdaz » Mon Apr 04, 2022 3:55 am. Hi guys, when i start my C4 Grand Picasso (2014) the orange "SERVICE" warning lamp lights up & stays on. Ive tried to reset it by holding down the trip counter & then pressing the Start/Stop button, this resets the spanner icon and miles until next service etc. But the orange service light is still on!?
firstly turn on the ignition not engine running, open bonnet remove battery positive lead and then turn off ignition. then touch the positive lead to earth, this powers down all ecus and resets erasing intermittent faults in the process.then reconnect the battery lead.
So, car I'm question: 2010 C4 By Loeb, 1.6 16v VTi 120 Petrol (EP6, BMW PSA engine). Started the car up this morning to leave and upon driving to the top of the driveway, the warning message of Check Engine Oil Level popped up. Popped the bonnet, checked oil level and appeared fine on the dipstick.
Prueba a fondo con el nuevo monovolumen francés. Bajo la lupa, la versión full de cinco plazas, con su eficiente motor 1.6 HDi de 115 CV.
I'm inclined to agree with "Sorted Trainers" that the eco mode is nothing short of a pain in the arse! When my wife and I go to town I usually walk along to the bank, draw out some cash and go to the news agents for the latest copy of Classics Monthly or What Diesel, have a walk along the harbour and return to the car to await the arrival of my wife while she "does" the charity shops before

A statistically based answer: Pre-heating is unlikely as it doesn't kick in until well below freezing. If it is coming on when it shouldn't, then you should see the tell-tale on the dash. Leaking injector is possible, though the injectors on the 1.6 diesel are far more reliable than those in the 2.0 diesel.
